That's a very nice and representative selection Don. The first one, with the nice light coming through, is very attractive.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan

Definitely like the first 2 best. And of them, the first is most appealing. I believe the light and shadows really help the image.

Don, you have such an interesting style. I think these are some of my favorites from you. The top two are definitely the best as far as exposure and light, but I kind of like the composition of the bottom ones. There is something captivating to me about the combination of dead and alive flowers. I would actually like to see even more of your pp techinques in these, I think it might bring out that contrast better. Great images

    Don,
#1 is by far my favorite. I love the lighting and the plants just seem to pop out of the photo. They look so very soft. #4 is my second favorite. As previously mentioned the combination of live and wilted flowers brings more to the photo.

I am sort of fond of the withering daisies ...I think it is cool that you are capturing nature as it really is ...not always perfectly beautiful, but real.
