    Autumn blur

this shot was taken in very high winds as I wanted to get the blur of the leaves in the trees and have procssed it to give it almost a dreamy effect. I thin it worls well with the colours. I left the man and the dog small in the shot as they are only there to give context. It's all about the path, the colours and the blur...

Hope you like and thanks for looking.

Great vivid colors, and I really like the composition with the man and dog on the path

Good thing you commented on the windy day, there are some areas more blurry that others, I'm not sure at this size it communicates the day was windy, or that there was a technical problem with the shot.

This looks as though it is leaning to the left quite a bit.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

Funny you mention that, as most found it fine, but one other person did too. I can assure you the it's level, but some of the trees and also the way the path moves and the fact that it's not level means it gives that impression. I've tried messing about with it but it seems as good as it gets, but I can see why you get that impression. Thanks for the reply.

I love the colors and the composition, I am glad you left the man and dog in. I would however agree that it is definitely leaning to the left and I am not sure about some of the blurry spots, they seem a bit over processed or something. But overall, great shot.

Seems like I have been outvoted! So i'll have a play and repost it as soon as i get chance. I'm so sure that that's how the scene was as it's local to me, but i guess what's important is the effect it gives the viewer, regardless, so i will definitely repost once adjusted. Thanks guys.

quick edit with a 2 degree cw tilt. It seems tilted to me now the other way which is the effect some people noticed when i tilted it previously, which is why i left it as is. Any better? Thank you for the help and input.

Very nice image. The soft focus (or blur created from the branches and leaves in high wind) add to the painterly like feel of the scene. The colors are grand and the man and dog walking along this wonderful path add to it. i enjoy how the branches from the trees seem to lean over as if to honor the subjects as they walk the "red carpet".
I also felt it appeared tilted, whether or not it really were. The edit with the slight tilt correction seems to help and improves. It also adds to the lean of the trees which i find appealing.
Fine shot, might have benefited from a bit more sharpness to the foreground and tree trunks, but not a deal killer.

Thanks very much! I don't quite know how the sticky works and how long it's there for, but it's very much appreciated. Thanks to you all, as it's done a very amateur photographer's confidence the world of good. It gets tough sometimes!
