    Atocha

    When I was visiting my son in Madrid I took a shot near the railway station, it was pretty dull and lifeless, So I decided to have a little play with it to see if I could recover something.
    I probably went OTT with this, I would appreciate anyones thoughts on this.

    Looks like an airbrushed painting. Not bad, just different. It actually reminds me of some of the picture postcards from the '40s & '50s

    I agree with jet, they look like colorized B & W photos from the 40's to me. The technique which I saw, was for an artist to hand water color an under exposed print, most often a portrait.

    It's a lot more interesting than the original. Interesting that you caught seven cars together all of about the same color. This against the colorful background of the PP one makes the photo, I think.

    I like it a LOT. It almost looks like a 3d render. It is quite beautiful.
