Good shot! Well framed. I'd only suggest a little more light in the sky, or accentuate the sun rays toward the top of the frame. I'd simply prefer a bit more light at the top or thus the photo being perhaps made moments later? Of course with sun rise/sets you often have take what you can get.
If this is a location you can return to, get closer to the Saguaro cacti or use a longer lens to make them a larger element!
Looks pretty nice. The sky looks like a premade gradient in photoshop - dont know if thats good or bad hehe.
My thoughts are the hill blocks the focus of the shot,it looks flat to me(not much depth) and too much sky.
Rest assured, it's no PS gradient, but it does looks that way a bit.
If I woulda framed less sky then there woulda been more hill then it woulda been "flatter?"
Less hill,.... then more sky.? You kinda left me between a rock and a hard place.

I like the pic, but it seems to direct the viewer to a large open hole in the center of the photo. Seems like something else is needed right there - what, I don't know. Still a very nice shot.
As an AZ native, I think you've captured the essence of an Arizona sky. The rich colors, the cacti, the rocky mountains and the sage, all combine to make me very homesick. Having seen many of these sunrises and sunsets, I know that there are a billion ways to photograph them and this is but one of those ways. I wouldn't change a thing, because this is, realistically, what you would see looking across an Arizona desertscape. Of course, having spent a great deal of time in Texas, there are plenty of areas out there to get similar sunsets and sunrises, as well...hehe...Great shot!!!
