An aquaduct.

We had just ridden across this old aquaduct using it to cross the Sudbury River and swung down around. and this was just too good to pass up.

The sky is a bit blown out but the rest of the image is georgous! What a beautiful place, so serene.

I love the quiet feel of the picture. Makes me feel calm.

I am not convinced that the sky is blown out. It might have been one of those gray overcast days. Or am I wrong?

I do find the power line in the above left a bit distracting.

Bottom line. The picture makes me want to be there.

I see a whole lot of potential with this scene but I don't think that you are quite there yet.
The bridge by itself is gorgeous and the reflection in the water is neat. That being said, the picture looks washed out. A simple level adjustment would most likely do the trick but then there is these power lines in the sky.... Assuming that you can reshot I think that should try to go back there at dusk or at dawn to catch the same scene with more colors. Perhaps the power lines would be less visible as well.

It was quite over cast that day, I tried darkening it up a little and the power lines showed up even clearer. I will make it a point to go other there again. thinking about adding more color , I willtry to get some shots in the fall with the leaf foiliage should look really nice.
