The apprentice.. of the apprentice. ;)

I haven't contributed in a while, so here's a shot I did for a friend. He wanted some "casual" portraits and came with this outfit on!

I like your approach here, nice angle! My only concern is the strange lighting effect arround your friend head. Is this dodging and/or natural sunlight?

I like your choice of background, it holds interest by itself without distracting from your model.

Thanks Seb. =) The lighting on the subject is all natural. I have no idea (don't remember) what gave it that effect though, it's been a few months since I took that picture.

I'd say that light is reflected sunlight off a window.
Nice trick to put his head in front of it and highlight him that way.

I like the angle and the colours in this shot. The sky is also a nice touch. It's very appealing to the eye.

The angle is interesting but unfortunately not attractive imo as it is looking up under the nose a bit too much. The angle has also not been kind to his hands especially the one nearest the camera.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan
