Excellent photo Yoyo, you go to some really interesting places. I was out walking with my wife today and I have started seeing photo opportunities in my structural surroundings, so you've had an impact. I'll take a camera next time and see if I can develop an eye as good as yours ;-)

I really like this shot. The curves of the roofs and the stairs... the photo itself seems to be curved-- almost a slight fisheye effect. I don't know if this is real or just an illusion from the curving lines.

    Really nice!

Nice shooting and now I see why I was having problems with angles in your previous shot.

I like the architecture here and the way the steps curve complementing the roof design.

I think the people in this shot makes it for me adds interest to the photo and shows the building is a living environment. You've managed to get the contrast between the building and the number of people and the positions of the people very well, I can't imagine how long you waited for this to happen.
Perfect in B&W excellent contrast - no critique I guess.

Hi Greg, Thanks for the kind words. I am very happy that you find my shots inspiring.

HI CR, I guess the illusion is from the curves. Thanks for the appreciation.

Hi Roger, Thanks for the kind words. I have spent many hours in the station both day and night. I am really amazed by its structure and space utilization.

I looked at this when you first posted it, but didn't have a chance to comment then.
This photo almost has an optical illusion quality to it, with the curves and slants of the floor, and the reflections. A very cool shot.

    Hi Emily,
Thanks a lot for the appreciation and analysis of the picture. I really like the station a lot. It is one of the best memories I had in the Kyoto tour.
