    Antique trainer

    flying along the beach. A target of opportunity for me.

    Everything's right with this! Good placement in the frame, nice prop blur, and very sharp.

    Great looking plane too.

    It's fortunate that the water reflected light to keep the bottom of the plane from blacking out. It looks oversharpened though (tail especially)

    Would the fact that the leading edge surfaces are curved have a bearing on sharpening ?

    Thanks for all the comments. Caleb is right though, I resharpened after resizing and it really didn't need it. That's whats causing the artifacts around the tail section which don't show in the full size file.

    Hminx, not sure if it has any bearing or not but you need to be careful any time you have prominent diagonal lines when sharpening as "the jaggies" start to appear. Over sharpening will produce a stair step effect on diagonal lines.
