    Antelope Canyon

    An old-ish pic of Antelope Canyon that I just scanned ..

    I like it's teardrop shape, but not a lot else to grab ahold of.

    I like how the dark blends into the light.
    Also the shape is unique.

    I like the idea GB if you just had some more detail in the darks, maybe some fill light.

    The washed out area bothers me more than the lack of detail in the darkest areas.
    I suppose some will want you to crop out much of the black but I like it the expanse of it and how it just pulls my eye to the lighted area and the gradual light progress.

    Thanks for the comments. I've played with this image, and it's the best I can do. I personally like the dark area, but like you Frog, I find the washed out part bothersome. An HDR would have been perfect in this situation. I can always go back !
