    Another Window Picture

I really like the shape of the old window. I think it looks like an old jail window or something. But you tell me. Thumbs up or down?

    What's the horse in for?
Seriously Greg, I like the textures and colors. The shot seems kind of tilted, but I believe that to be a result of the settling and mortar work of the building,
    Great shot.

    Hi Greg,

Good earth tones and tonal range.

    Cheers,

    Re: Another Window Picture

I wasn't wondering what the horse was in for... Since it is obviously a child's plaything, I was wondering what the kid was in for? Seriously, though, it looks like the sort of thing they used to do to old buildings (eons ago) when I was young: put bars on the windows so children can't fall out. In my estimation, the horse makes the picture, and I like it. At first, I, too, thought it looked tilted, but the bottom row of bricks seems to be parallel with the frame, so I'm guessing the window is actually installed somewhat crooked.

John, Jim and RS. Thanks for the comments. Yes the window really leans. More the bars than the window I think? I guess I could try and fix it in PS but it really doesn't bother me that much. I guess the crop is ok?

Well... I wouldn't bother trying to straighten it, if I were you. You have the building straight (I believe), and the crooked window is just the way it is, right?

    Re: Another Window Picture

Looks straight enough to me, Greg. The childs horse inside the "prison window" looks quite interesting. The only thing that seems to come to mind when lookingat this is maybe centering the window from right and left, but keeping the height just as you have it.
    Nicely seen
