It was shot with a digital compact camera. I found it in the lobby of a hotel and so the lighting was there already. The flowers are not real. Cropped and corrected the color and then some sharpening afterwards.
This is nice. I like the vignette around the flower. It draws my attention to the flower and simplifies the scene. I think simplicity is needed for this shot, and wonder if that green thingie in the back left should be cloned out for that reason? Definitely fix that one minor image blemish to the left of the big flower (looks like a bead of water?). Oh, and the color palette here is different: don't think I've seen pink and dark red/maroon like this .. very interesting.
