Does this one do anything for you? When I was going through my shots from yesterday, something about this one caught my eye. The shape of the elements in the frame or something.

I like the "texture" of the branches with the snow on them and the overall darkish appearance of the picture. It certainly has that cold feel to it.

Dear Kelly,

I think the darkness is interfering with my enjoyment of the photo. That is my only major critique . I always like bare trees and the spidery shapes they make. They remind me a lot of Arthur Rackham's drawings of trees. Maybe a curves adjustment would be good.

Kelly, this photo does catch the eye, but there's too much in it. Try shooting an isolated tree or moving in close to some branches, shrubs that have interesting designs, angles.
As for the darkness, I think its due to the blue cast from overcast sky. Hope you dont mind I ran you're pic through auto levels in pse2. I always try this on my images to see what happens. it corects color, sharpness, and contrast.

I have tried in the past to capture the feeling of snowladen branches in the past and have not been very successful. I think the eye's ability so see selectively the contrast between the branches and the snow is what can't be translated from a photo. I think what we need to do is to frame it so that the dark areas are a substantial part of the frame and thier individual shapes emerge from the overall crowd of shapes. I also think it helps to boost the contrast and lighten the snow because that's how our eyes are seeing it out there with the pupils stopped down because of all the white.
Here are a couple areas in your shot that I think are stronger than the overall shot.

I have to agree with the rest and say that the overall pic is too busy and needs some sort of focal point.
The snow on the trees really provides a lot of contrast with the dark bark and if you isolated one of the trees as Chunk has suggested you would have a great photo.
