Re: Another one for review...any C+C much appreciated
While the exposure and colors seem quite fine to me, I'm not too keen on the pose or the slight angle (at least for this kind of portrait). Perhaps if she was sitting on that step (and a bit more to the right or left, not dead center of the French doors) with her elbow on her knee and hand on her face, it might have more of an impact for me. You might also consider moving yourself and the camera to the right a bit so that you can work in an angled frame (I love shooting at angles myself).
I would also recommend sweeping the brick before you snap the shutter. :hand:
Other than that, a nice portrait.

Hey Ray...Ye I seem to be getting a lot of that "It should have been angled"... Here is another shot from the same sequence... I think it might be a better one although I feel her expression is a bit "posed"

Actually, the pose here seems much more relaxed and comfortable to me than the first one. I like it much better, and I think it is also improved by the different camera angle on this photo. My only nitpick is the brick to the right. I feel you have enough brick in the foreground already, try letting the French doors fill the background.
Looks like you've got a great model here to work with. And her outfit with bare feet seems to work well with her surroundings. She is definitely a subject you want to keep practicing with.
