    Sky's the Limit

    A shot from Arches NP. Enjoy!

    Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.

    Mahesh, composition, framing, and as usual, location. . location. . location, are all there. But, I feel that b&w may not be the best choice for this image. All the great elements in this scene seem to get lost in eachother in this b&w whereas I could imagine in color the rock formations would stand strong against the sky and foreground and clouds might compliment eachother more effectively. I'm sure this still does or would look fine in print with way more detail able to come through, but I just don't think that b&w is the right choice for this scene.

    Ya, you're probably right, Gary. Even in print the color version looks better than the b&w...for the reasons you mentioned. Thanks for the input.
