I'm the wrong person to judge flower shots, but I think the orange against the green background is a great combo, and I also think the different shades of the flower makes it look elegant. The rest of the image is only Ok though (not sure about the bulb below it), and the flower itself seems a tad cramped in the frame. It seems sharp but also soft at the same time (if that makes any sense). Maybe a little more negative space below it too.

The primary problem I find this shot has is: it's a bit tight.
Usually I try not to sharpen an image to the extent that it looks very sharp but also unnatural in the sense that the subjects in the photo don't look like what one can see with their naked eyes.
