That's a great shot. Often dogs are hard to shoot or you get that glassy demon dog eyes look. But by shooting the dog's attention somewhere else we really get a sense of his personality. Great job.
too much profile for me, I'd like to see his left eye a little bit better. Looks like his white neck is blown out, might have been done in processing though - I'd be sure to keep the highlight detail in his neck. The lighting on the backdrop is also very distracting to me, though I do like the backdrop itself. Great focus and white balance.
The glassy demon dog eyes problem is easily resolved with a dark brown/black paint overlay. Though this image his eyes look very good.
