I'm concerned that I might have some monitor calibration issues, so if your monitor is calibrated, please let me know how the levels appear on this shot.
Also, is the lighting any better here than in my last post?
I think this one if far better Paul!
The color and the light make it so.
The compostion is good too, I like how the higher mesa contrast against the sky.

“A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed, and is, thereby, a true manifestation of what one feels about life in its entirety...” - Ansel Adams
What a difference - this gives the feeling of space, tranquillity, and sparse population - I would love to see this printed 15x10 to get all the detail.
Levels are fine. Colours are gorgeous.
Lovely picture

There's nothing like desert light when ya get it right. And you got it right in this photo. The previous photo looked very flat compared to this one. Nice job!
My only critique? Get the photographer's shadow out of the frame, LOL.

Thanks, Ray. It was overcast all day but when the sun set, it slipped under the cloud cover for just long enough to get a couple of shots off.
I was wondering if anyone was going to notice my shadow.
