I really love the idea of this. B&W seems to be the ideal choice. The lighting and the sharpness are all spot on.
I think she might be too centered and her legs are at a strange angle.
A shot like this suggests a story and the title points us to what the story is about. Therefore we look for clues that might helps us. Since the sign/plaque on the wall has focus, I am lead to think there might be a clue there, but I don't think there is.
So maybe if she is off center, focussed and in shallow dof?
Yep. The crispness of the mid century furniture (I am assuming that is the influence) against the white is amazing. The text in the background give me this 60s agitprop feeling for some reason. But the black and white also evokes the space station corridor in 2001 a space oddyssey. I don't know if that constitutes a critique or not, but this is very cool. Do you mind if I ask where it is?
