    Talking An Announcement - Personal.....

    My dear friends,
I just wanted to let you know that I have given Photo John, my resignation as the moderator here. My life is changing, I am preparing to go to grad school and need to focus my energies there.
It's not official yet, but I am in "high level negotiations" with someone I feel will do an outstanding job as the Critique Forum Moderator.
This is not a farewell to PR.com, a community that I love dearly and is an inetegral part of my photography.
I am also not letting go of photography, it's place in my life is far too valuable to do that.

I want to you you all know, and this is something that I hope you already know, that my photography and I are so much better for having you involved in it. I also hope that I have given you some of what I have gotten from you.

    Regards,
    Brian

Congratulation or sympathies as appropriate, but we'll miss you as mod.

University of Illinois isn't far from me and they've got a pretty fine Library Sciences program. They sort of wrote the book (pardon the pun) or the 'software' for a lot a modern systems.

Can't really recommend the scenery compared to Utah and the weather is pretty bad, but we do have swamps, tornadoes, wide open spaces, and the possibility of the biggest earthquake to hit North America. Illinois still might be a choice for your Grad experience if you haven't settled on a school. I do know people at U of Utah.

Best wishes and keep us updated!
