Not sure how many more of these I'll roll out, but I do appreciate the critique as this portraiture is a different beast for me.

So, moving on to number 4....

I don't like the cut off hand, but the rest of it rocks. Has this amazing retro look, as though she's some up-and-coming pop star performing on American bandstand in the early seventies. Great lighting and - again - really cool look.

I think it's an awesome image as well. Personally, I would like the hairlight/backlight to come all around the head, providing a bit more separation between the top of her head and the background. And more lighting on her face. Her upper arm and hair are competing for attention along with the "halo" behind her, so I would definitely light up her face, and also to clear up a bit of the shadow that the bags produce.
