    Angels of Mercy

Hi, Im new... lol... but figured Id just jump right in. Im very much a beginner... very much. But I enjoy just doing my thing, but one should always strive for better... even if just for themselves. Or atleast thats what they keep telling me!

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

    Hi Bria...welcome, first of all.

These are two interesting shots...but I would have to say that I prefer the second. It's strange, but that particular photo seems to bring "life" to an obviously nonliving thing. I like that the face that's more in the background is the one in focus...it makes the one closer to me seem like it's listening to the other one. I like it.

    Bria,

Welcome to the boards and hopefully you enjoy your time here. I'm with Emily, the second shot is superb. The dull, lackluster colors work great here and the subtle tones are definitely a huge plus for the shot. The DOF is good, and I even enjoy the out of focus foreground.

    Well done and enjoy,

    Jared
