    Details look good to me. The shadows are a little bit too much though. Composition-wise I think the first one is better.

    The shadows kill it dead. Try more diffuse light, I can definitely see the potential but the shadows obliterate whatever potential there is.

    I certainly noticed the shadows and was not bothered by them, I thought they added something. My next step will be to eliminate them (not in PS though).
