    am i any good??

    mornin' all, here's my first try at portraits http://www.lostprophet.fotopic.net/p21478073.html
    am I any good? how could I of been better?? or should I just stick to speedway and planes?

    I think you have a keen eye on how to pose your subjects in reference to their surroundings, but something is off and I am not sure if it's your photoshop skills or the camera itself. The faces on your subjects in some of the pictures look pixelated, fragmented, and that tends to detract from what I think are very nicely composed pictures.

    Composition wise, I think *you* are very good.

    The faces look flat and I don't know why. The lighting on the hair is very good so I don't know why that depth didn't transfer to the faces.
