Excellent image daq, I like that colour effect and composition, this is a great example of when to override the rule of thirds. Only thing I would like to see would be the pupil a bit more dilated and a galaxy or nebular composited in there.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...
Personally, the image does not appeal to me - however - this is a matter of taste - and it will be different for different people. Technically, I think it is over-processed - I would take it down a notch. I also think there is a little too much skin on the left of the image.
Very compelling shot. Over processed....sure, but with intention. There is a good contrast of light and dark. I like seeing color where one wouldn't expect it in a natural or realistic setting. Texture is great. I am wondering if it could use a bit of lightening up on the corners to make more lines apparent. Just a thought.
Very nice work of art. Congrats on the sticky too, Daq. I'm not sure of any way to make it better, it just is what it is. Could be sharper but I think it also has special appeal being soft.

Great piece of work that took me straight to Dr Who. I agree with GB1 it looks a little bit soft in places but wouldn't change it. There are 3 little lighter spots to the left of the eye thats a minor distraction. I especially like the light reflection in the eye. I'd love to know how you got to the final photo
