Interesting shot. I love how the clock says 12:00, very nice affect. With him wearing a white shirt, there are a few areas it seems over exposed (particularly right above his right shoulder). Also, this pic is a little too grainy for my liking.

    Good pic, could be better,

There's something I like about this shot. I think the furrowed brow adds some mystery to it. What's he thinking?; who's he talking to about what. That sort of thing. I also like the fact it looks like it was taken in the '70's (maybe it was?).
The grain enhances this one for me.

I like it as a "moody" and photojournalistic kind of approach to the image, strong lighting conrast and the grainy effect I think are all a plus on this one.

Yeah , I feel 70's in this as well. I like the whole effect here. The grain, the glare, the dreamy moody feel. Definetely a shot that holds interest . Works for me, as it is.

Excellent. The close up aspect really suits and the picture portrays its title perfectly.

I was going to say something and then I read it over and over in the other comments. Grain = good. over-exposure on top, under on bottom = good. 12:00 = lucky and/or good. Sometimes that helps too. Did you take any more pictures of this scene from different angles? It might change the exposure too much but I would also like to see a steeper angle looking up at the model from the same distance. Great shot!

I get the retro feel too, but the shape of the clock gives it away. I love the grain. I feel that the blown out areas contrast well with the deep shadows and neither distract me in the least. Very nice.
