Very nice, golden light and blue sky together, I can feel the cold !

It looks better exposed than my first attempts.
I found with my Minolta A1 P&S that with snow it under-exposed, I think because the metering is set up for "normal" scenes when everything is brighter and whiter it gets it a little wrong.

Love the white of the trees contrasting with the super blue sky in the background, have you tweaked the golden light much? Keep shooting Alina!!

Just the hoarfrost against the blue would have been a great shot and that golden light slanting in really takes it over the top. Terrific.

Fantastic shot! I love the color tonalities - they are very ... mmmhh .... Provia like!

It is also very sharp and perfectly exposed. Would you mind letting us know of your camera system/setting you used for this shot? Just curious!

    Congratulations,

    Cheers,

    Steph.

My favorite is the second one, though I think I would like it cropped to just the trees and sky. I love how the sky itself looks like ice. Not one dimensionally flat and white, but very icy.

    Re: almost winter time

Wow, Alina, both shots are just beautiful! I would also be very interested in any info you can give for both a la f/stop, speed, etc. Have to admit that I am slightly jealous since these are the type shots I dream of finding. Maybe once winter sets in down here. Really would not change anything on either of them.
