    aggresive mercedes

Haven't seen this model before, it's got the size of an S500 but very aggressive styling. Wondering if this shot captures that feeling...

    Re: aggresive mercedes

For me it certainly does. Great shot, I like the low photo-taking angle. It looks awesome as is, but if you really want something to improve, well, here's some minor suggestions:

    • Clone out the piece of wood under the front tire.
    • Clone out the small line under the car at the far right.

    Very nice work.

    Re: aggresive mercedes

    Certainly an agresive looking wheel.

While you're cloning, get rid of the shadow at the lower far right.

Also, try looking at it with even less space to the left of the nose???

Total pimp mobile. Your shot conveys aggression for sure.

The quality makes it look like an ad. What did you shoot with?

    More like this?

Dray, this was shot with the Fuji. Processing is 3 layers: background = emboss / layer 2 = B&W high contrast / layer 3 = color overlay / high pass sharpen after merging all. The emboss layer emphasizes the specular highlights to make it "pop"

I also like the edit look better, however I would of like to see more of an angle showing the grille more, and maybe a tad bit higher to see the lines of the hood, that little piece of metal hanging down in front of the tire distracts me a little.

other than my nick picking looks like a sweet ride.

I like the edit, the wood thing was definitely distracting. definitely a nice 'sectional' car pic. Beautiful car also!

They sure did, and I really appreciate everyone's input.

BTW As long as you're ordering, go ahead and order me one too

Here's the whole car just before it pulled away:

Thanks jet. The editing job is simply awesome. I'll have to try the emboss method (crediting you with the idea, of course).

Well done Jet especially the edit. Great angle and just enough of the cars nose in the frame to make it work. Reminds me of Shark Week promos on the discovery channel lol
    Well done!

Interesting editing technique I will have to try it soon.

as for the photo it is one of the most intersting car photo's I have seen in a long time. Nice one.

    Re: aggresive mercedes

The edit works very well. No problem with exposure and sharpness for me but I, too, really don't think the composition works. I'd really like to see more of an angle with the grill and mercedes logo showing.
