Darn, I want to like it but the image as a whole is too contrasty and you have lost detail in both the dark and light areas. Cropping some off the top would help to reduce the overall darkness of the image.
The thumb being partially cut off at the bottom of the frame almost works but just feels wrong here.
I like this one a lot, the light and the texture of the skin comes out really nice. I like the contrasts. The only thing I am not sure about is the thumb, as MB1 has mentioned already.
