    absolut door

    I drive past this almost every day, and envision the same b&w that I finally got around to making. In the process I played with the color a bit and came up with #2. I have no doubt this would be a lot stronger with someone on the wall smoking or something.

    As you mention another element would make this stronger,even a rubbish bin. A lot of potential with this site and I think the colour version is the better of the two.

    I like your daring here, very interesting composition. However, I do agree with Pete that another object in the scene would strengthen it. It just seems like it's calling for something on the right side: a fellow lying down on the ground with a Absolut bottle in his hand?

    I would not mind if the black space actually had some detail, even without a person - at least on my monitor, there is just a little too much "emptiness" - but artistically speaking, maybe this is a good thing?
