It is an interesting scene because I've never been able to travel and see places like Palestine so I travel vicariously through all the photos from people around the world.
The light in your photo is very harsh because it was taken at mid-day. Try to get your shots in early morning or in the evening when the light is softer and the picture will be even more appealing.
