    Abandoned

Its been a while since this old boiler house provided steam power to the pit engine.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

Very nice Pete. The way the building is facing I almost wish you had placed it in the left third of the image. Making it look as though it was opening the scene up, if that makes since. Nothing wromg with this angle though. Just another option.

The exposure is perfect. Almost too perfect though, I think it needs some kinda contrast to give it depth. Other than that, really lovely scene. well done.

Thanks Greg, I thought about placing the boiler house on the left, but the cloud buildup seems better on the left, touch and go on that one though.
Thanks Liban, first time someones accused my work of being too perfect..., guess I'll have to be more careful in future ... .
My lovely Wife and kids got together and bought me PS cs5 for my birthday, so I was able to play with some of its new features (for me that is). 3 image HDR, edge refine , and content aware tools.

Errr...I think he only refers it to the exposure

I agree with Leels about the lack of the feel of depth in this image. I can see some slight fringe around the edges, too. Perhaps toning down a bit in the HDR could help.
