I like it but I think I would have liked to have seen a little more on top of the boats. Nice concept though.

Nice reflection. Is there anyway to make more picture above the boats and less below the reflection?

Nice shot. From the title, I was expecting an old barn or farmhouse.
I agree with the others that a bit more of the top of the boats would help and also losing the solid green blob at the bottom. I think it would be OK for the waterline to split the frame in the center here and have a nice formal reflection.
Is this at Gov. Dodge S.P.?

    Re: Abandoned

I wasn't shure how I felt about this version of the photo myself... I cropped the top off because the BG is an empty parking lot, and behind that is a bathroom. I know there is a decent shot to be had with those reflections, just not sure how to get it, without getting wet...

    I really appriciate the comments!!

Chunk, yes, this is Gov. Dodge. I think the original photo has the shore line in the center. I took it that way so I could have more room to crop the top and bottom, obviously a littl too much off the top.

    Thanks again everyone!

Just turn the picture upside down

Nice shot, but I also would like to see above it, feels a bit cramped, but I like the reflection.

First of all...I agree with the others about needing a bit more on top...however, when I originally saw the title and then saw the pic...I wasn't sure what the meaning was...to me...but after your description of the rest of the shot, imho, I think a bit more of the vacant lot, etc. would lend a little more to the title.
Regardless...I really like the shot...the reflection and the debris in the water really makes it feel like the end of the boating season! Nice work.
...btw, a personal note, did you get the email I sent you on here??? A bit too late for the rally, but I wanted to know if it was a good way to contact you if something special comes up here??
