    '56 V8

I've seen this car many times, decided to try it in b&w

Shot with the wide angle to exaggerate the forms

Wish there were less reflections on the bumper and that there were no spill on the ground

Thanks for looking and for your comments or critiques

    That is one sharp car.
    Not a bad photo either.....
Only problem with the reflection, is you're in it and I don't mind.
    Look through a glass eye.
    Give it a few tries.

Well, personally I have never been a big fan of wide angle distortions. I could count on one hand the number of times over the past I shot wider than 42mm equivalent, and each time I try to cut the angle a way that produces the least amount of distortions. Most of my shooting is at 75mm and beyond.

Anyway, the reason I'm saying this is because my first reaction to this image is that I would prefer to see it with a compressed view to accurately demonstrate the form. You however were desiring the opposite, intending to exaggerate the form. Down to personal flavor and style, I suppose. But you would be a lot smaller in the reflection at a telephoto angle.

I'd also like to see more of the background and the cars surroundings. I think the car fills up too much of the frame. I find myself curious what the ground and the grass around looks like, but I can't find out. I especially like the trees on the left and their interjection in the framing.

    Thanks Snoid

Thanks Anbesol , about the surroundings, they are not that attractive, the car is parked by an empty lot, and there is some junk on the ground which may not help with the pristine appearance of the car, I know you are not to fond of the wide angle distortion, once again thanks for your time to write

good exaggeration of the shape by the wide angle. it works. it might be a little tight. would've liked a bit more around, but still it does work well.

I like it. You needed to be wearing a white t-shirt and a leather jacket.
