What do you think of the fella in the image?

For that matter what do you think of the image.

I like the colors and the deep rich blue sky you've got going. I think the exposure is a good one. I'm not sure about the way everything is canted towards the middle of the shot though.

I think the wide angle distortion kinda hurts the shot. It's straight but it's not, but it is... if you know what I mean.

Cool idea of you standing there watching the cars go by. I think stopping it down a notch and lengthening the exposure a bit to lengthen the trails would make it more dramatic.

Great shot but use DXO to fix the crazy distortions and try blending in some clouds or paling out the sky. It looks fake with that overwhelming bright blue colour.

Ah but I love the blue sky, that is why I was there taking that picture at that time of morning.

OTOH I have to agree that I perhaps overdistorted the whole thing by pointing my 17mm lens at the ground in order to get those bends and shapes at the top of the image (I cropped off about 1/3 off the bottom of the image for this look).

I like it. The car trails along with the guy standing still, As if time is passing him by. Good shot.

I like it also - The intensity of the blue sky is great! But I agree with Ken on a stopping it down and increasing your exposure to get longer trails. I know its probably hard to get them at that time in the morning ....

I think the photo is too distorted for myself, I do like the rich colors. But I feel it is still missing something and I can't put my finger on it right now.

Just out of interest how long was the exposure? I agree that longer trails could have been more effective....but could you have stayed still for longer??!!

The contrasting colors are nice. I agree about the longer light trails. I would almost suggest cropping out the far left and far right buildings and see how that looks. For some reason its almost like the man is getting lost among all those buildings. Overall nice exposure.

I like the skies color along with the golden lights of the buildings and lamps. The composition does not feel right though. I think too much was included in this scene where less would be more. As another suggested cropping out the building on the left might help.
The man does get lost in the scene. This is not bad, but I would like to see this shot from in front of the lamp post to do without it and just grab the street, a couple of buildings and that great sky.

That wasn't me, that was just some fella waiting for a ride.

    1.0 sec/17mm/f8/ISO50

I went with the low ISO to get a longer exposure and the f8 seems to be the sharpest with that lens.

I think I will be going back to reshoot soon.
