I like it. I like the subject as well. The two trees remind of one of those old couples who seem like a single entity. It'll look so unbalance should one get blown down. Nice work.

A very cool approach to a popular landscape concept... I like it a lot. I will say the image on the left is a bit hazy / flat in terms of the exposure. A little highlight and shadow might help there since the shot opposite (at right) is so vivid and colorful. Winter looks good, spring maybe could use a bit more saturation.

Thank you all very much for interesting comments. I didn't stand there for a whole year At first I even didn't plan about such composition, but in spring I saw that I have two similar photos taken in autumn and winter, so decided to finish the job.
The quality isn't so good because taking picture in autumn I was novice in photography (have just bought the camera) and as you see I have made big jump forward (summer picture).
I agree that the tree is also interesting. It is absolutely symmetric!

Well, wait for a year and you will see another interesting composition

    P.S. Comments are still welcome

This is a good project to work on, and I've never seen it done this way. Very cool! Couple of things, I'd like to see the winter shot adjusted just a little bit so that the horizon line is straight all the way across.

And also, the light is pretty flat on these shots - try going out early or late in the day and you'll find better light. It might take a couple of trips to get a really good shot of each season but the results are worth it.

The concept is excellent and it makes for a good set of images.

Am I seeing things or is the left hand strip narrower than the others? Is that intentional?

Get some nice autumn foliage to replace the first slice. You CAN see the improvement you made, I can't wait for next year's version.

I am thankful all of you for interesting ideas and critique. It was vey useful.

Now I shall try to explain your queries. The left strip is narrower and the horizont line of winter doesn't fit the others because I was shooting the tree from different positions and I had to correct the dissonance. Unfortunately, this is the best I could do.

I say, wait for another year and you'll see a perfect project! ;)
But maybe you will soon attain an improved version with the first slice replacement.

Be attentive and keep on commenting!
