    4/16/08 C&O Canal

    Mile 10, 5:40pm

    EOS 5D, 17-40mm (17mm), ISO 100, f5.6, 1/320 & 1/160, .6 Graduated ND filter

    Trying to get a feeling of depth and show the beauty of the place.

    very scenic!..might look better with the lens distortion corrected. Has a HDR feel to it. How deep is the water?..can you move a little to the left on number 2?

    I like the first one with the addition of the cyclist. The greens do look a little over saturated. Maybe try taking a little yellow out of the shot. Sometimes a polarizer can cause this. But you may like it that way????

    I like the exposure in number 2 best but wish there were someone on the path as in the first.
    The sky just doesn't look real in #1.

    Always nice seeing the C&O MB. These are good shots but maybe a bit oversaturated. The top shot's sky might be a bit too graduated and dark at the top also.

    Seems like a quiet day. I guess you waited till the right moment to shoot, as I always see more people there than this when I make it over there..
