    Cindy,

I love that last one greate sense of "monty python's silly walks."

The first is excellent in the way the positions of all the kites line up and lead the eye from bottom right to top left.

    The middle one is ok.

It might be worth adding a touch of saturation to the last one.

My problem with timing of the kite festival is that the light is always nasty-you did good considering but I wouldn't say that any of these overcome the difficult lighting conditions.

BTW why didn't you come up to the Eastern Market to see me?!?
    No, I DON'T need that.

The first one is my favourite here and the simplicity and elegence of the kites make for a very nice photograph.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan

Thanks Roger. The third one is one of my favorites from the day so far.

Too true MB! Nasty lighting is an understatement. Not to mention nasty parking, and way too crowded, the freakin' Marine Corps Marathon, Cherry Blossom Peak Weekend and the Kite Festival, the place was a zoo! I was there for a portrait shoot for my best friend and her kids - we had to hide under the cherry blossoms just to get any decent light but was rewarded with some beautiful portraits. I may share a few in a separate post.

BTW why didn't you come up to the Eastern Market to see me?!?
Then I had to jet straight from the Kite Festival over to the State Theatre for a 5 hour Bar Mitzvah. Oy Vey! It was a long grueling day.
