    Hello Automaton,
    Welcome back to the forum. I believe I have seen at least one of these before (#1) as an RBG experiment with layers. This black and white version is interesting, it appears to have some filters beyond the b/w conversion that are making this look distorted and out of focus. I get a very frantic feeling when I look at it. The second seems to have the same filter, or maybe it's the magic wand tool and some extreme edge finding. All of these portraits are very extreme head shots. There is definitely some style here and a feeling that is similar throughout, which is important when creating a series. I think the lighting on your last two is way too harsh and doesn't play as well. Interesting series, thanks for sharing.
