Here is yet another shot from Sunday. For some reason I really like how these guys look when they are flying together. They almost remind me of minnows swimming in a fish tank to me.

Hi Greg , this is a very interesting well captured image ... I really like the formation of how this flock of birds are flying together . Very nice indeed !

I like this image..
I think it would be improved slightly by cropping it just a little tighter, to play on the compostition created by the birds rather than the image being just a bunch of birds.
Just my thoughts.

I like this shot but I think it would be improved with a little breathing room in back (so that the birds were not cut off) but then again that may have made it 46 stilts...

I like the Dof I think the backgriound is just blurred enought to may these guys the center of attention

If you look closely at the clump of birds in the middle you will see that one is almost completely eclipsed by another. All you can see is part of the second one’s head and beak. There are indeed 23 stilts in this picture. There were many more but they simply wouldn’t fit in the frame so I had to end up cutting a couple off. Maybe a little PS work could get rid of the cut off one but I don’t know if I am up to the challenge.
