2 BW surf shots

Just messing around with my bw conversion in raw.
What do you think?

Nikon D70s.
Nikon 18-70mm, 50mm 1.8, 80-200 2.8.
Tokina 12-24.
Nikon Samurai # 27

Interesting choice. I think the top one is probably better. Looks like a diffused glow almost. Nicely done.
