    1st Post!!!

Hey guys, im new to this forum and i just recently bought my first camera about a month ago. Its a Nikon D70s with a 18-70mm AF-S Nikkor lens. I love this camera sooo much but im thinking about getting a new wideangle lens, being that im only 16 im a little low on cash so thats gonna have to wait a while. anyways heres the first pic ill post, let me know what you guys think.

climed up on my roof to get this one. i was doing my homework while it was raining yesterday, and when it stopped i looked outside and saw that the sun and the clouds were ligthing up the sky in really nice purpleish/blue colors so i just had to go out side and take some pics. after aobut 10 minutes and about 500 mosqito bites i came up with this lol.

I'm glad you included some foreground via the trees. Sunsets that show only clouds are boring. The foreground gives it depth.
    I was 16 once..lol

Nice capture of the sunset. Like Frog, I also wish that the foreground was a little more interesting. But better what you got here than no foreground. You should also have gotten the tree outlines to be sharp though. I am not sure why it isnt, since you snapped this into a bright area, it should have set a pretty fast shutter speed, AND used a smaller aperature. Perhaps the focus was off? Try to brace when you shoot or use a tripod. Pictures will be so much sharper when you use one. Good luck, GB
