I like the top picture. It is oversharpened and/or over-compressed as one can see the jaggies around the major objects like the buildings. The slight curvature is interesting. The bottom shot is ok but I find the parked cars the only interesting area. I think that the stree on the left is too vacant. But overall, they are both interesting scenes of urban life.

Thanks guys. I do a lot of post processing to get that painting look. The "over sharpened" appearence is probably due to necessary compression (see my query Effects of Photo Compression on Critiques.
