    Pentax O-me53

Anyone used it? What are your thoughts?

I found one near here for $30 CAD, just wondering if this would be a worthwhile accessory, particularly for bird MF shots.

Wow...sounds like a great idea to me...I have problems reading my internal meter settings...and I have given up on manual focus because of my eyesight! I think I'll get one when my camera gets back from the shop!!!!
If you get one, make sure to let us know what ur experience's are!!!

That sounds like a useful accessory weather or not you have old eyes like mine. Thanks for the heads up.

I've been using one for a while now and like it a lot.
It does make it hard to see the readings in the viewfinder though.
Not sure if it would help with birding, but it does help with close ups.
I've started researching angle veiwfinders now.

    Give it a few tries.

It also makes it a bit harder to see all that is in the viewfinder.

    Very nice colourful photo!

I've decided to skip buying O-ME53 and instead try to get a right-angle finder... hopefully one of those with 1x - 2x zoom magnification.

    If anyone is still interested.
I picked up an Olympus angle finder at a camera show recently.
Fits like a glove on the K7.
    1.5x 2.5x
Lots of adjustment on the diopter.

FYI I use my O-ME53 on my K7........The viewfinder is so large and bright!!!.........
I never had a camera like this before.
