    Penatx K mount compatibility

I have a Pentax MX, and three lens' that I love; 17mm; 24mm; & 100mm. I would like to get a digital body to used them on. Which body will work best.

    Thanks
    Sam

    Re: Penatx K mount compatibility

Hi Sam...I've hesitated answering your question, since I'm not much more than a novice myself. However, It is my understanding that all of the K mount lenses are compatible with the Pentax bodies, except that you'll probably have to manually focus all the time. I'm hoping some of the "gurus" can step up to the plate here soon, but some are probably still sleeping off their christmas feast and getting ready for tonights celebrations, so please give them a few more days to catch up on their reading.
Hope you have a happy and safe 2008 and I look forward to hearing what you decide to buy, and let me know how they turn out. I have a couple of K mount lenses from my MG, but have not gotten the courage up to really attempt to use them yet on my *ist DL. Good luck
    Ken
