    K mount Question

If my Ricoh kr 5 super 2 is a K mound camera...obviously... will it take any K mount lense? Or do I need to look for a select brand?

    Re: K mount Question

Hi JFox and Welcome to PR...I'm not that experienced but in my reading for my Pentax's, it is my understanding that "any" K-mount should fit. However, I'm sure there are limitations based on the model of your camera and the lens you are using. Such as an older camera with a new lens, you may lose your autofocus and other modern upgrades of the lense.
However, I'll let the more knowledgeable photogs among us set both of us straight.
Again, welcome to Pr and especially the Pentax forum.
And good luck with your new camera!!!!

    Re: K mount Question

The Ricoh KR-5 is a basic SLR and any old K-mount lenses will work with it. Remember that only manuak lenses will work as it is not an AF SLR. If you place an AF lens, then you must manually focus the lens.

    Cheers...
