Come on guys, lets see some pics of those classic old Pentax cameras, from the time before everything was all plastic and sensors.


I'll start the ball rolling with my beloved Pentax ME and SMC A 50mm 2.0

I've got a K1000 that may dad gave me a while back. It has the f2.0 50mm Pentax I think it was the kit lens), f2.8 28mm (gemini) and a 70-200mm (forgot the brand).

The K1000 works great except for the hotshoe. It has a really cheesy Focal K-mart brand flash.

I'm still a Pentaxian! On film anyway I love my old SLR.

Just took a few quick shots of my K1000. It has the gemini 28mm mounted. These were shot with the old 50mm f2.0 lens on my samsung gx 1l, I still have a bit of learnin' to do with this lens, but I enjoy the bokeh that I get from it, although I may have been a bit overzealous with it!

with the Focal flash mounted.

Well, I dont use the old Pentax film bodies but I do enjoy the glass. The Taks are excellent.
Most of my film cameras are Nikons amd Fujicas.

That brings back some memories. My first SLR was a Pentax that I picked up in a pawn shop in Milwaukee for $40 I just wore it right out. Took about fifteen years. Wished now I saved the lens.
