Panasonic flashguns the same as Olympus?

I just noticed that the Panasonic DMW-FL360 and FL500 look strikingly similar to the Oly FL-36R and FL-50R, respectively.
Are these basically the same flashguns? If so, then the LX3 would be a great backup P&S to any Oly dSLR :thumbsup:

Yes, the Oly/Panny flashes you mentioned are basically identical - except of course, the brand name and subtle design differences.

Also, the Olys are less expensive.
