Olympus E-3 Image Stabilization Demo Video

I shot this at the PhotoPlus Expo and only just got around to posting it. It's a hacked E-3 that Olympus had to demonstrate how the in-camera image stabilization works. The finger is pushing on the IS system sensor and you can see how the system moves the image sensor to compensate. The new E-3 has the same image stabilization system as the E-510 except the movement sensor has been fine-tuned to be more reactive and precise.

That's actually the first video I ever shot and posted. It was shot with an Olympus compact camera they had handy at our meeting. It's quick and dirty but evidently it's effective.

Thanks John for the inside view. Now I won't have to crack mine open. That was very interesting. At times I can feel my 510 adjusting while I am shooting.
