    Olympus camera help?

    I have an Olympus D535 zoom camera and it has a 256 MB picture card, when i try to stick the picture card into my PC my computer doesn't recognize anything. It used to pop up just like that as soon as i stick it in and now it doesn't. Please Help???

    My guess is it's the card reader. I've found card readers to be buggy bits of hardware. Mine periodically misbehave and I have to unplug them and start over. I had a built-in card reader in a laptop and it never worked right. Have you tried plugging the camera into the computer instead? That will bypass the card reader and tell you if it's the card or the reader.

    Always click " remove hardware " and click to remove the memory card before removing from the computer. I have killed flash drives in the past because I forgot to.
