New Olympus E-3 DSLR Report

I have finished and posted a detailed early preview of the new Olympus E-3, based on the information they've given me and a bit of hands-on time at the official introduction last night. Basically, I think Olympus has done good with the E-3. It feels great, seems to perform very well, and I'm excited to give it a real test when they get one to us.

John, when you handled it, did it have the poweradapter on it, or just body only? I've got to have an external power drive on it or it just doesn't "feel" like a camera to me. I've got big hands. Thanks

I just published part 2 of my Olympus E-3 report. The second part has a little more detail about the camera internals. The information in the second part camera from a meeting I had with Olympus a few days after the intro party. It focuses on the auto focus, image stabilization, and the camera's magnesium chassis.
